Maggie Sposato
Founder + Director
Based in New York City, Maggie Sposato has dedicated her life to the arts. While earning her degree at Fordham University Lincoln Center, she trained at esteemed institutions like Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Broadway Dance Center, STEPS, and Peridance Capezio Center. As a professional dancer and choreographer, she performed with several NYC companies and developed a passion for teaching dancers of all abilities.
In 2018, Maggie founded Unique Movers, an inclusive dance organization that combines movement and accessibility for people of all ages and abilities. She also teaches at GiGi’s Playhouse NYC, where she recently participated in the 2024 Fashion Gala and continues to offer classes each semester. Her work has extended to creating events for the Abilis Foundation, Angela’s House, iDance4aCURE, Team Nikhil Foundation, Special Olympics, Brooklyn Nets, Abilities Expo and more.
Maggie is also the Executive Producer of the documentary “P.S. Love, Robby,” which explores her uncle’s journey as an adult who is neurodivergent. Directed by Brian Thomas and Brian Rubiano, the film has received awards at the Over the Rhine International Film Festival and been selected for The Hayden 5.0 Film Festival.
A creative at heart and a believer in the power of art to unite and heal, Maggie continues to share her passion for community, dance, and music to create change and inspire others.
